i have some exciting news to report.
thanks to having the best brother in the world,
and thanks to romanian customs/mail taking forever,
a power cord for my laptop finally came today!
one day shy of four weeks.
this means that my cute little (big) yellow laptop is back in business.
more exciting: this means that it really was just that the power cord wore out,
not another bigger problem with my computer.
also exciting: i don't have to be annoying anymore when it comes to borrowing a computer.
yessssssss.
i'm a little excited.
obviously.
also exciting: skype dates, anyone?
this also means, my post about our wonderful trip will be coming soon.
as soon as i finish putting all my pictures on my external hard drive from the past month.
haaaaaaaaa.
i might have a lot of pictures. from the past four weeks. maybe.
ha.
the sun is shining on romania today.
and i smell like sweaty babies and spit-up milk.
does life get any better than this?
ok, so back when we had an elevator, it was a little nicer.
did i mention that?
there was a fire in our elevator on sunday, and there's only one elevator for our building.
which means every time we come home, we climb six flights of stairs.
which is really more than that, since the first floor in romania is equivalent to the second floor in america.
and to get to the first floor here, we go up two flights of stairs.
on top of the eight/nine flights we go up at the hospital every day.
it's a little tiring. maybe.
i've never hated stairs so much in my life as i have this week.
oh well.
i'm over it.
life is goooooood. and sweaty.
