german dictionaries.

did you know that ein/aus means on/off?
in german, that is.
yeah, i know. wrong country, right?
wrong.
how cool are we that our washing machine is in german!
super cool. that's how cool. and i would know all about the cool scale. ha.
roslyn and i had a wonderful adventure full of freaking out just now.
you would too if you were looking at our german washing machine.
what does that mean? i'll look it up.
where does the water softener go?
what about that? what does it mean?
where does the detergent go?
it's not starting!
how does it start?
i'm getting my camera. i feel like that's all i can do right now.
it's not plugged in.
haahaha.
it's still not starting.
shooooot.
i pressed the big orange button.
it started!
what does betrieb mean? or ein/aus?
it better mean start. or i'm gonna freak out.
to say i'm 100 percent nervous about this right now would be accurate.
baaahahahahahahaah.
i love europe.
i knew i wasn't a fan of the german language.
dang german washing machines.
i'm a little bit skeptical about how this will turn out.
just a little. [ LOT. ]
p.s. this is how cute my hair gets to look everyday. extra frizzy and curlyish from humidity.  greasy from sweat. pulled apart by kids fingers. especially a few of them. one in particular has a thing for running her fingers through my hair, regardless of where the ponytail or bun is. or what it used to be doing. i probably have to re-put it back like fifty times in three hours. so great.

Someone built this washing machine wrong. The same thing happened to me with a pencil the other day. (http://oldpoetry.com/opoem/show/50419-Shel-Silverstein-Stupid-Pencil-Maker)
